The passing of the historic TEAACH act brings Asian American history into school curricula, starting with Illinois.

Partnering with UCLA's Department of Asian American Studies and Stanford University’s Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education (SPICE), the Asian American Education Project provides deep and broad K-12 curricular lessons based upon the book Untold Civil Rights Stories and the stories from PBS’s successful “Asian Americans” TV series - for teachers and school districts to teach Asian American and Pacific Islander history as an important part of American history.
